In addition, ” Day One Dark” includes an alternate, extremely gloomy version of the soundtrack theme that was not used in the movie. The 20-page booklet features an inlay with liner notes by Hans Zimmer and director Christopher Nolan. His uplifting, atmospheric soundtrack to Christopher Nolan’s Sci-Fi adventure “Interstellar” earned Hans Zimmer an Oscar and Golden Globe nomination in 2014. To define the meaning of the sound experience of the sound experience of ” Interstellar”, the view of Hans Zimmer’s own musical biography is not enough. Far more than a further development of the Hans Zimmer signature sound, the sound combination of an organ with electronic and orchestral elements represents a turning point in the history of modern film music and marks a much copied and unprecedented sustainable sound innovation.
